Candidate is joining the Pakistan Navy as a PN Cadet for Term Standing Commission 2022 and Online Enrollment Visit Pakistan Navy Official Website www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk

ELIGIBILITY

  • Unnamed man Owens from Pakistan
  • Age on July 01, 2021
  • Civilian candidates: 16 and 21 years old
  • Service candidates ages 17–23 (uniformed armed forces only)
  • Height: 5’4″ (minimum)

QUALIFICATION FOR EDUCATION

  • Applicants must have passed Matric and F.Sc or O/A levels
    with at least 60% marts with one of the following subjects:
  • Physics. Mathematics and Chemistry
  • physics. Mathematics and computer science
  • Physics. Mathematics and statistics
  • O/A level candidates must present an equivalence certificate
  • FSc/A-Level part-1 candidates with at least 65% marts n part-1 can also apply. However, they must provide a certificate of hope from the principal of the respective college/institute

HOW TO REGISTER?

Applicants can apply by visiting the Pakistan Navy website www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk from October 27 to November 10, 2022.

Note: Applications sent directly to the Naval Headquarters Recruiting Branch will not be accepted.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

  • The entrance test will start on November 13, 2021
  • Online testing / compiler-based testing will be performed in the following areas:
  • intelligence test
  • Academic Test (English. Maths. Physics & General Culture)
  • The exact date of the entrance test would be communicated to each individual
    by SMS by the respective PNR&SC

• Only shortlisted candidates would be called for the Preliminary Medical Tests/Interview and Physical Efficiency Tests (PETs) at the respective PNR & SC.

The Physical Efficiency Testing (PET) standards are as follows:

Test
Run: 01 mile

Time: 8 30 minutes
Push-ups: 10 reps

Time ; 2 minutes
Abs: 10 reps

Time: 2 minutes
Chin-ups: 10 reps

Time: 2 minutes

  • Application forms will be issued to these candidates. Will be eligible for preliminary medical tests, interviews and physical efficiency testing (PET).
  • Only merit-qualified candidates would be called for testing/interviews at the ISSB.
  • The medical examination of candidates recommended by the ISSB would take place at the nearest CMH / Naval Hospital
  • Final selection by Navy Headquarters on merit

Note: Candidates are advised to have their ears and teeth cleaned by a specialist doctor.

FUTURE PROSPECTS

Granting of a permanent commission after two years of training, one of the following diplomas is awarded after the successful completion of
basic training:

Branch of Operations: BS (Marine Science)

Marine engineering branch: BE (mechanical)

Weapons Engineering Branch: BE (electrical)

Supply Branch: BS (Supply Chain Management)

Note: Subject to suitability and academic progress, selected officers may be sent overseas for a Masters and PhD.

INELIGIBILITY

  • Twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Committee or once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Committee
  • Withdrawn from any armed forces training academy/institution for any reason
  • Removed from any college/armed forces establishment on bail for disciplinary reasons
  • Tested for a validity period of one year (the validity of ISS8 / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ selection boards is one year) for recommended candidates
  • Tested within four months (120 days) of the last appearance of the ISSB (for applicants rejected by the ISSB)
  • Dismissed / Deposed / Disbarred / Resigned from public service, including the armed forces
  • Sentenced by a court for an offense of moral turpitude
  • Declared medically unfit by an Armed Forces Medical Appeals Board
  • Declared unfit by the Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by the Medical Appeal Board
  • Submit forged original academic certificates
  • Concealment of information in the application form
  • Candidates holding dual citizenship, unless they surrender it prior to commissioning/passing out or within 6 months of joining PN, whichever comes first.
